Justin
Owner

Justin Downs is the owner of TD Building Concepts, which was started in 2008. Justin has been in the construction industry for 32 years and has an extensive knowledge of construction including a background in civil engineering, surveying, and subdivision development. At the age of 14, Justin started working summers for a contractor in Burley Idaho and has been in construction ever since. Justin, along with his team, has grown TDBC organically from a small remodel company to a custom home building & general contracting company. We fully customize multi-family units, single family, and commercial builds to meet the clients needs. We are now a team of 11 and growing!

In his free time, Justin loves coaching his kids in sports and has been a coach for the Pocatello High School Baseball program. He enjoys passing on his knowledge of sports as well as everything he has learned in construction. Family time and trips keeps him busy after work and on the weekends and having a family culture in the company is something he strives to nurture.

Jacie
Owner

Jacie Downs has recently started working more with TDBC in a variety of supportive roles. Jacie has most recently been working to represent a Human Resources presence within the company. Jacie’s previous education and experience has been in the health professions world with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Throughout her career as a speech therapist, Jacie has worked in several management and director positions that have given her a good background in work and issues related to human resources. Jacie’s newfound interest in the construction industry has sparked her desire to continue learning more in this field to assist TDBC in its continued growth and improvement. Jacie enjoys spending time at home caring for her 3 young children and supporting them in their many activities.

Kristina
Director of Operations

HI! I’m Kristina, I am the fun one of the group. If I am not in the office writing processes and procedures, I am learning or implementing new ways to improve culture and help take TD to the next level. I enjoy being able to challenge the team and get them out of their comfort zones and show appreciation for all that they do on a daily basis. My favorite part is watching people improve at work, but in their personal lives too! TD revolves around that family feel environment and I knew working here and for Justin would be a good fit for me.

I am a mom to two boys and a girl and am married to Nathan Maravilla. Usually, if people don’t know me, they know him or his family so we love being involved within the community and hanging with friends. We enjoy all the kids' sporting events, camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and living life to the fullest. Hobbies that I enjoy include baking, converting my little school bus, and 3D printing!

Tristin
Lead Carpenter

My name is Tristin Downs I am a lead for TC Building Concepts and I have a few favorite things about this company and career. I enjoy having new hires because it gives me the opportunity to teach them the ways of the trade and seeing them grow as employees and people. Another aspect I find enjoyment in is the satisfaction of the completion of a job and the finish product. Seeing all of the hardwork we have put in to have happy customers is rewarding.

When I am not at work some of the things I enjoy is to ride my side by side and MMA training.

Trilby
Project Coordinator

My role as Project Coordinator at TDBC is so fulfilling. I get to see projects evolve from an idea to a reality. I schedule projects, ensure quality results, and have a great time working with home and business owners through the process of designing and building their vision. I truly enjoy working with homeowners every day and seeing them be able to build the home of their dreams!

I moved to Pocatello in 2006 with my husband and my 2 children. I was previously in the healthcare field but retired 3 years ago to follow my heart and work in construction management. In my off time I love to hike and camp in and around Pocatello and travel with my husband and children.

Bill
Foreman

My name is William Jones. I have worked for TDBC for about 15 years doing framing, finishes, tile, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and concrete. I have a farm that raises horses, chickens, goats and turkeys. I spend time maintaining and growing a garden as well.  My hobbies are announcing team roping competitions across the western US on nights and weekends. I love that it lets me see a lot of the country.

Robert
Project Manager

I am Robert Cockerill and am Project Manager for TD Building Concepts.

I enjoy working for TD Building Concepts because Justin Downs displays great respect for his employees and always goes above and beyond for his customers. He has an amazing way of making it right for all!

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls. I bring to the team more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry. I have extensive expertise in managing projects in the commercial space as well as residential and custom homes. My goal is always to provide exceptional customer service to all clients and I believe in explaining to the client in clear and simple language all aspects of the project. I take time to listen to the client and make sure they are ultimately satisfied at the end of the job.

My hobbies include building and racing cars, dirt biking, kayaking, basically anything outdoors. My greatest joy is being a dad to two amazing girls. I love seeing life through their eyes. I believe we have the best of both worlds living here- I can raise my children experiencing the great outdoors of Idaho and I can raise them with the values that living in this great area provides.

Easton
Hammer Hand

Hi – I’m Easton Rudd. I have been at TD for just over a year. A few of my favorite things with this job is I seeing the hard work I’ve done at the end of a project. I have learned to be able to spot things in a house or building I wouldn’t have noticed before. Such as good trim work or seeing there’s no caulk- things like that. Being here has taught me so much already and I look forward to more years to come.
